About
Since childhood, I have felt a particularly deep connection to music and nature, and early on I learned to observe natural phenomena in their transformations—to read contrasts as a language. From this sensitivity arose my need to make transience and transformation visible.
I work extensively with floral motifs, which are developed into large-scale abstract compositions. The poetic subjects evoke the transience of delicate blossoms—as mood, rhythm, and tension.
In my works, dense, almost raw fields of color meet open, breathing spaces. Deep ultramarine stands beside bright orange, muted pink against sharp black. The contrasts do not feel decorative, but physical; they create a pulsation that gives the paintings an inner movement.
The brushstrokes appear bold and immediate. Some lines cut quickly across the canvas like spontaneous gestures, while others settle heavily and slowly on top of one another. Beneath this expressiveness, however, lies precise control: Every burst of color seems to be part of a hidden beat. The rhythm of my works unfolds quietly—not as obvious dynamism, but as a subtle energy that draws the eye across the surface.
